“I Want A Wet Kiss” — Korean Mom Seduced Men By Using Her Teenage Daughter

A mother’s idea of “a little fun” left her teenage daughter feeling shocked and betrayed.

On Anna TV, a YouTube channel by comedian Hur An Na, an anonymous college student reported her own mother for stealing her identity for online dating. Hur An Na shared the anonymous report with her YouTube viewers through her Anna Bar corner.

In her report, the anonymous user said that her troubles began about a year ago, when her mother signed up for X (then known as Twitter). Her mother didn’t use her own photo–she used one of her teenage daughter’s for her profile.

About three or four months later, the daughter found out that her mother had been impersonating her to flirt with strangers. Her mother would respond to tweets like, “How old are you? Shouldn’t you be at school?” by saying, “I’m 21 and I already went to class.”

When the daughter confronted her mother about it, her mother shrugged off her concerns. “It’s not like I’m going to meet these guys in person,” she said. “I’m just having a little fun.”

Unfortunately, it gets worse. The mother shared private information about her daughter, including where she lives, where she goes to school, how tall she is, and how much she weighs. She also posted racy tweets like, “I want a wet kiss.”

The mother would contact younger, 30-year-old men, asking them, “Are you my king?” In response to that, Hur An Na commented, “This clearly sounds like an older woman pretending to be young.”

Unsurprisingly, the daughter and mother constantly fought about the identity theft issue. The mother promised to “tone it down,” but the situation continued to escalate. She started text messaging one of the 30-year-old men she met on X. When the man wanted to hear her voice, the mother asked her daughter to record a message for him.

Her mother’s inappropriate requests continued–and her father refused to intervene. She said he knew what was happening but didn’t say anything to avoid fights. (Hur An Na was shocked!)

Hur An Na said that the mother might be acting out on X because she isn’t receiving much attention from her husband. She also advised the entire family to attend therapy in order to heal.

I think your mother isn’t feeling like she’s loved and so she’s lonely. That’s why she’s getting deeper into [X]…

It might be best that you seek therapy for everyone in your family. [In Korea] psychiatric therapy is still seen as negative and only for the ‘insane’, but that is not true. You are not crazy, or you don’t have to be, to see a psychiatrist. Family therapy may work best for you.

Hur An Na ended the video by saying, “Some of the hardest advice to give are the family-related ones. But I hope your mom and your family recover from this.”
