BLACKPINK Lisa‘s Instagram has sparked rumors about the idol’s future with YG Entertainment.

While the members’ contracts were meant to expire in August, there has been no confirmation of the renewal. In particular, there have been many speculations that Lisa is no longer or will not be continuing under YG Entertainment.

In particular, after her sexy and badass AF performances at the Crazy Horse in Paris, many believe the idol is ready to broaden her horizons.

Well, it seems like recent activity on social media has fuelled rumors of Lisa leaving YG Entertainment after interactions with another record label.

Of course, Lisa has millions of followers, ranging from fans to celebrities.

Recently, netizens noticed two people follow Lisa, and it wasn’t surprising that it sparked rumors because they are affiliated with the record label, Columbia Records. The first was Luis Gerardo Cárdenas, (Specialist Creative Administration of Columbia Records)…

And the next was Chika Ifediora (Digital Marketing Manager of Columbia Records).

While it’s not uncommon for companies to follow artists, one fan pointed out that Ifediora only follows artists under Columbia Records, aside from one exception with global superstar Billie Eilish.

Unsurprisingly, after seeing the social media activity, BLINKs thought it might be hinting at Lisa’s future.

Yet, it isn’t the first member of BLACKPINK who has sparked rumors about making the move to Columbia Records. Online, a photo of member Rosé with the CEO of the record label gained attention, with many speculating that the two were speaking about the idol’s future.

Other fans noted that several members of staff from the record label have recently followed BLACKPINK on social media, making fans wonder what it all means.

Of course, everyone would love BLACKPINK to stay under the same company. Yet, many groups have shown that it’s possible to continue promoting, even when signed to different companies.
