TXT’s Soobin Isn’t “That Close” With Bang Si Hyuk, But Beomgyu And Hueningkai Have Different Perspectives

Popular variety show program The K-Star Next Door returned with its latest episode featuring TXT members Soobin, Beomgyu, and Hueningkai.

To celebrate their recent comeback, the three TXT members opened up about their group dynamic, their handsome visuals, their experience headlining 2023 Lollapalooza in Chicago, and more.

As with each The K-Star Next Door guest, the TXT members participated in the “K-Profile” segment of the show, answering and clarifying popular keywords and phrases associated with the group.

While debating the accuracy of Soobin’s reputation as a leader with an “iron hand in a velvet glove,” host Jonathan Thona asked Soobin about the time he used HYBE‘s founder, Bang Si Hyuk, as an armrest.

After the TXT members’ initial surprise at the question, Jonathan Thona produced the “evidence” showing Soobin’s arm resting on Bang Si Hyuk’s shoulder in a group photo.

The TXT leader explained that he was told to move closer to the HYBE founder during the photoshoot but added that he and Bang Si Hyuk actually “aren’t that close.”

Jonathan jokingly noted that Soobin’s revelation about his relationship with the HYBE founder was “more controversial” than the photo itself.

Hueningkai and Beomgyu hilariously rushed to declare their love for Bang Si Hyuk, playfully distancing themselves from Soobin’s statement.

The two younger members listed some activities TXT has done with Bang Si Hyuk, showing their close relationship with him.

Jonathan replied that it seemed the group was getting a lot of love, but he wondered if anyone had complaints as he singled out Beomgyu for a response.

Beomgyu concluded the discussion, thoughtfully stating that Bang Si Hyuk had gone through “so much” for the group, including flying to their overseas schedules.

Soobin nodded in agreement, acknowledging Bang Si Hyuk’s hard work and involvement with the group.
