Former Thai Billionaire Sues Woman For “Downgrading” Him To Millionaire Status

A Thai man has lost millions of bhat over the years, blaming his ex-girlfriend for his financial downfall. The 70-year old man claimed that she tricked him into selling his luxury assets including cars and properties.

The woman, currently 45-years old, met him through a mutual friend 18 years ago. The billionaire was fully aware that she was working as a freelance prostitute at the time. He fell in love and promised to take care of her if she ceased to see other men.

Almost two decades of lavish living soon passed, and keeping to his promise, he gave her a monthly allowance of ฿50,000 to ฿100,000 THB (around $1,300 – $2,700 USD). He would also regularly gift her upwards of ten million bhat (฿10 million THB or around $270,000 USD) at her request, paying for her father’s expensive hospital bills as well.

On top of this, he bought her luxury Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz cars.

The woman allegedly persuaded him to sell his expensive items ranging from BVLGARI accessories to watches worth tens of millions of bhat. He took a closer look at her negative influence on his spending habits after realizing that she was often out partying with other men.

Towards the end of their relationship, he went from a billionaire to “only” being worth ฿10 million THB (around $270,000 USD). He has since sued her in an attempt to reclaim ฿30 million THB (around $810,000 USD) worth of assets.

The exact identities of the man and his ex-girlfriend are not known.
