GOT7 Jinyoung’s Speech At The “35th Golden Disc Awards” Has Ahgase “In Tears”

It was recently announced that all the GOT7 members would not be renewing their contracts with JYP Entertainment.

Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

We held in depth discussions with the members ahead of the expiration of their exclusive contract on January 19.

As a result of the discussions, both the company and the members have agreed not to renew a contract, instead wishing for a new future.

GOT7 has been a global idol group representing K-Pop for the last 7 years since they debuted on January 16, 2014.

GOT7 has been together through the growth of both K-Pop and JYP Entertainment, and we would like to thank the fans, iGOT7’s, who have been the driving force behind GOT7’s promotions with the generous support they have shown since their debut.

Although our relationship with GOT7 is over, JYP Entertainment will sincerely support the new future each member of GOT7 will move on to.

However, the members have made multiple social media posts to let Ahgase (GOT7’s fandom) know that they will forever be GOT7.

Not only that, but Jinyoung‘s speech at the 35th Golden Disc Awards also had Ahgase “in tears”. When Jinyoung was giving a New Year message, he started by wishing everyone the best.

Everyone, 2021 has just begun. First of all, Happy New Year to you all. Well, in 2020, we all had to face a lot of unexpected things, changes. Many people struggled and endured the hard time together, laughing and crying.  I hope all of us can laugh together in 2021. Also, I pray each and every one of you will be blessed with good fortune.
