BTS‘s Jungkook dropped a surprise announcement during his 2023 Global Citizen Festival performance on September 23, revealing that he would be collaborating with American rapper and actor Jack Harlow for his upcoming single, “3D.”

Although only briefly sharing screentime in the first teaser, Jungkook and Jack Harlow shared more behind-the-scenes looks at the music video filming through social media.
Both artists uploaded a photo of BTS’s Jungkook wearing a diamond Kentucky chain, which immediately caught netizens’ attention and even KFC‘s!

Aside from the impressive and expensive details that went into making the necklace, the reason behind its creation made Jungkook wearing it even more meaningful.
For the impressive necklace, Jack Harlow enlisted New York-based jeweler Alex Moss to create the piece with “61 carats of VVS diamonds and 560 grams of 14k white gold,” according to Hypebeast.
The piece was commissioned to honor the late GRAMMY award-winning American singer-songwriter and producer Static Major, who, like Jack Harlow, was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, and often wore his own Kentucky chain.
