Actress Moon Ga Young (also romanized as Mun Ka Young) surprised netizens.

Yet, it was not her gorgeous white dress that shocked netizens. A video by ELLE Singapore went viral with 1M views at the time of writing of the actress giving a brief greeting.

Netizens were surprised but impressed by Moon Ga Young’s English. Yet, everyone couldn’t help but notice that her accent was unlike most Koreans’ English-speaking voices. She clearly has a German accent.

Moon Ga Young was actually born in Karlsruhe, Germany, and grew up there for ten years before moving to South Korea. She can speak Korean, German, and English, although she claims she is not fluent in the languages.
