The Latest Female Idol To Have Debuted In 3 Different K-Pop Generations Is Just 25 Years Old

As K-Pop grows and evolves, defining moments set apart each generation. There are currently five generations of K-Pop, with many regarding the debut of ZEROBASEONE as the start of the fifth generation:
- 1990’s — 2004 — 1st Generation
- 2005 — 2011 — 2nd Generation
- 2012 — 2017 — 3rd Generation
- 2017 — Summer 2023 — 4th Generation
- Summer 2023 — now — 5th Generation
Some idols will only debut once during a single generation, while others have debuted multiple times in different generations. A new girl group member just joined the ranks of idols who have debuted in three different generations!
Yeeun | DAZED KoreaYeeun made her first debut as a member of CLC in May 2015. CLC saw ups and downs throughout their career, culminating in Yeeun choosing not to renew her contract at Cube Entertainment and the group’s disbandment.

Yeeun then made her solo debut with the digital single “Strange Way To Love.” Following the digital single, Yeeun released her first single album, The Beginning, marking her re-debut as a fourth generation soloist.
