Reality Star Announces His New Relationship, Asking Fans To Stop Sending Hate Messages To His Boyfriend

Earlier this year, His Man 2, also known as His Love or Man’s Romance, the second season of Korea’s first LGBTQIA+ dating show aired. The show featured eight gay contestants living together, trying to find love amongst each other.

At the show’s end, two relationships formed, Min Sung and Hyun Jin and Jun Seong and Seong Ho, the latter couple making history as the first gay couple featured in DAZED Korea.

One of the other outstanding contestants was the youngest member Yeong Hee, who gained fans due to his fun personality.

Recently, Yeong Hee revealed that he is in a relationship! According to posts reshared on his Instagram story, he is dating someone new

Yeong Hee also confirmed their relationship status, though the reason it was brought on was not positive.

While on the show, many fans hoped that Yeong Hee and contestant Seon Woo would become a couple. This hope was renewed after Yeong Hee shared a Q&A session on YouTube that featured a cameo from SeonWoo a day before his announcement.

Unfortunately, fans that “shipped” the two seemingly took things too far.

A fan messaged Yeong Hee criticizing him for “tricking” people with his interactions with Seong Woo after the show.  Yeong Hee clapped back at the fan by sharing messages on his story and other details. *Message separated for clarity.

Fan: The day before yesterday, you uploaded a vlog and went to Sunwoo’s shop. Said you weren’t dating, or whatever. And then you posted some lovey-dovey couple pictures. I’m so disappointed. You should’ve just said you were seeing someone back then. Tsk tsk.

Posting this because there have been a lot of misunderstandings.

1. At the time of the show’s afterparty, we were not dating. (Some people have been DMing me, saying that we’ve tricked everyone.)
2. The PJs we were wearing on the trip are not matching PJs. They’re similar in design, and that’s all. (We were surprised by it, too.)
3. Stop DMing hateful comments to my partner.
