Aespa Giselle’s Opens Up About Her Unexpected Connection To XG

aespa recently released a new æconic vlog featuring members Giselle and Karina, which took MYs (aespa’s fans) behind the scenes of their dance challenge videos with soloist Jeon Somi and global group XG.

The vlog began with the filming of Jeon Somi and Giselle’s dance challenge, and the two performed aespa’s “Better Things” and the talented soloist’s new song “Fast Forward.”

Giselle welcomed Jeon Somi to Kwangya (aka SM Entertainment‘s company building) for the first time, and the two besties caught up with each other as they taught their choreography and tried out SM Entertainment’s food.

In the next part of the vlog, Karina joined off-camera as she was getting ready, and she and Giselle discussed their upcoming dance challenge filming with XG members Chisa and Juria.

Karina revealed she had run into the group at Disneyland the day before and transformed from a global K-Pop sensation into a fan herself when she approached them to ask if they were really XG.

Karina shared that XG had recognized her, too, and as they were eating at the amusement park, they planned to film a TikTok together.

Their plans ended up transpiring the day after their fateful Disneyland encounter.

While discussing Karina’s unexpected meeting with XG, Giselle revealed she had a common connection with the global group.

Giselle stated that she felt she had a bond with the group because they had shared the same vocal coach as trainees.
