BLACKPINK’s Jennie And Kendall Jenner Both Wore The Same “Controversial” Designer Dress, But Served Completely Different Vibes

Netizens recently noticed that both BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and model Kendall Jenner wore the same “controversial” Jacquemus dress, but served completely different vibes.

Recently, Jennie shocked fans when new photos were released for her upcoming Harper’s Bazaar Korea editorial. In all the photos, Jennie sported different concepts and absolutely shined with her unreal visuals.

Amongst the beautiful covers, one particularly stood out as Jennie looked ethereal in a white and puffy dress. While it was definitely unique, Jennie added an air of elegance to the piece with a simple pearl choker, small earrings, and neutral makeup.

Yet, it wasn’t just Jennie who had worn the dress.

In June 2023, Kendall Jenner participated in the brand’s “Le Chouchou” show at Paris Fashion Week in Versailles, where she wore the same outfit. While both Jennie and Kendall wore the same dress and statement necklace, Kendall’s outfit had matching earrings and seemed much shorter, showcasing the pants section.

Yet, the dress was deemed “controversial” because of the outfit’s reaction when Kendall Jenner posted pictures from the event. The comments on her Instagram account were full of fans’ negative reactions to the dress, with some comparing it to a diaper.

While Kendall Jenner’s look garnered mixed reviews, Jennie’s photos have been praised as the idol channeled her inner princess to make the outfit shine in her own way.
