SF9’s Rowoon Departs From Group

SF9‘s Rowoon has left the group.

On September 18, FNC Entertainment revealed that the idol will now focus on his acting and personal promotions.

Rowoon, who debuted in 2016 and has been a member of SF9 for seven years, saw his contract with us end on September 18. The remaining members, who have already re-signed, will continue as an 8-member group. Rowoon will be focusing on his acting and solo promotions.

The label then revealed that although the member has left the group, he will always be part of SF9 and asked fans to continue to root for him.

Although their career paths are different, Rowoon, who will always be a part of SF9, and the remaining eight members are rooting for one another and will do their best for fans. We ask that fans continue to support SF9 and Rowoon.

Meanwhile, Rowoon debuted with SF9 in 2016. The idol has since carved out a successful career in acting and has recently starred in JTBC’s Destined With You as the series’ lead actor.
