On a live broadcast on Instagram dated January 11, 2021, singer Kim Sejeong addressed the malicious comments regarding her and EXO‘s Sehun.
According to news reports, Sejeong had contemplated the issue for a long time before deciding to talk about it publicly. Reportedly, Sejeong had explained, “I acknowledge that we are close and our chemistry is good but we have not had personal contact otherwise.” Sejeong had further noted that apart from filming Busted together, there was nothing that occurred that would cause worry for fans.
Kim Sejeong and Sehun had filmed a variety show together, Busted, and appeared close like siblings on the show. However, as Sejeong had revealed, she had been receiving malicious comments and DMs, receieved by both her and her parents’ social media accounts. Sejeong rounded off with a request to fans to refrain from malicious words.
