Actress Implicated In Kim Hieora’s Bullying Controversy Speaks Out

Actress Lee A Jin, who is alleged to have bullied another actress alongside Kim Hieora, has spoken out.

On September 7, Lee A Jin released a statement on her Instagram.

Previously, the actress and Kim Hieora were alleged to have bullied another actress by asking intimate questions about the actress’s pregnancy plans.

In her statement, Lee A Jin writes that she would like to explain her side of the story.

I am writing this to give an explanation regarding the controversy surrounding me.

According to Lee A Jin, she and the actress spoke about their pregnancy plans in 2021.

In 2021, in an outing to congratulate a colleague’s (B) marriage, I spoke to B about her pregnancy plans. Other people at the outing then spoke about their own pregnancy plans, and my colleague (A) said that she would like to have a child in 2024

Lee A Jin then writes that a couple of days later, (A) held a Q&A and that she had asked about her pregnancy plans, thinking that other people on the livestream wouldn’t be able to read it.

A couple of days after having that conversation, (A) held a livestream Q&A on Instagram but used a third-party app to collect questions. I, thinking no one would be able to read it, asked (A) if she was planning to get pregnant in 2024, to which she replied privately.

Both (A) and I didn’t know that other people on the livestream would be able to read the questions.

Lee A Jin then revealed that she never meant to hurt (A) by asking the question and denied bullying accusations.

It is my fault for asking a question without understanding the situation, and so I admit that I am at fault for the misunderstanding. It was my mistake to ask a private question without checking if others would be able to read it. But please know that it wasn’t my intention to hurt (A) and that I had no intention to talk about something so private publicly.
