ATEEZ‘s leader and fashionista Hongjoong has long been vocal about his love for the Balmain. He has worn countless pieces from the brand during his years as a K-Pop idol, and has expressed his admiration for their creative director Olivier Rousteing on multiple occasions.

And the admiration goes both ways! Back in March, Hongjoong was personally invited by Rousteing to a Balmain showroom presentation, where the two interacted and expressed their mutual respect and inspiration for each other.

That alone was a dream come true for Hongjoong, and he thanked ATINYs for helping to get him to a place where he could be recognized by the fashion icon.
But the story between the ATEEZ captain and Balmain didn’t end there. For some time, fans of the K-Pop group have been hoping that some sort of partnership or collaboration would happen between the two, and earlier today, that’s exactly what was announced.

There are differences in what Olivier calls people. Most fans and models are Balmain boys. Very few are prince.
