BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Will Reportedly Be The Female Lead In Upcoming Zombie-Thriller K-Drama

BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo will reportedly be the female lead in an upcoming zombie-thriller K-Drama.

According to an exclusive report from YTN, Jisoo will be the female lead in Coupang Play‘s upcoming K-Drama Influenza alongside Park Jung Min. Influenza is a K-Drama that showcases a couple who just broke up trying to keep themselves safe from a horde of zombies.

Jisoo would play the role of Young Joo, the girl in the relationship. She is new to society, being mostly sheltered, and is struggling after her breakup with Jae Yoon (Park Jung Min), who doesn’t understand her feelings. She goes outside to try and meet up with Jae Yoon but instead encounters zombies, sparking a change inside her as she has to fight for her survival.

Influenza is written by Han Ji Won, who is best known for her role in Parasite. No broadcast date has been announced as of now.
