Netizens Endeared By RIIZE Wonbin’s Surprising Height

RIIZE‘s debut is coming up soon on September 4 with their first single album, Get A Guitar. As SM Entertainment‘s first boy group since 2016 that isn’t related to NCT, they’ve been attracting a lot of attention and interest from netizens even though they haven’t debuted yet.

One of the members that has been getting a particularly high amount of attention is Wonbin. He’s been praised for his old school-like visuals that aren’t commonly seen in K-Pop these days, and many people assume he’s going to be the center of RIIZE.

Not only are his facial features extremely handsome, but he seems to have good proportions too, which also appeals to many.

Because of his apparent long limbs and broad shoulders, some people were under the assumption that Wonbin might be one of the taller members of RIIZE. But it turns out that that might not be the case!

Recently on an online forum, a post was made sharing pictures of Wonbin standing next to other members of RIIZE to show how much shorter he looks in comparison.

His official height isn’t known, so seeing him looking shorter than several other RIIZE members such as Anton and Sungchan came as a surprise to many.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s actually short. Anton and Sungchan are both very tall — 186cm (6’1″) and 185cm (6’1″) respectively — so netizens estimate that Wonbin must be around 175-176cm (5’9″), closer in height to Shotaro and Seunghan, who are both 178cm (5’10”).

Of course, these are just estimates, so there’s no way to know just how tall Wonbin actually is until the official measurement is shared (and even then, it’s not uncommon for an inch or two to be added to an idol’s height!). However, netizens are reacting with endearment to learning that Wonbin isn’t among RIIZE’s tallest members.

Regardless of his height, Wonbin has been getting a lot of positive attention in the days leading up to RIIZE’s debut, and we have no doubt he’s going to be a popular member of the group with his visuals and talent!
