NCT Taeil’s First Update Since His Motorcycle Accident Has Fans Feeling Emotional

NCT‘s Taeil recently reached out to fans for the first time since his accident.

On August 15, it was reported by SM Entertainment that Taeil got into a car accident while riding his motorcycle home after a schedule. The artist was diagnosed with a fracture in his right thigh and was to have surgery.

Hello, we would like to inform you about NCT Taeil’s health and future schedule. On the morning of August 15, Taeil got into a car accident while riding his motorcycle home after his schedule. He was immediately taken to the hospital for a thorough examination and treatment.

As a result of the examination, he was diagnosed with a fracture in his right thigh and received the opinion of the medical staff that he needed surgery. Currently, he is recovering and receiving the necessary treatment ahead of the surgery.

With this, he will suspend all schedules for the time being to concentrate on treatment and recovery. We ask for fans’ understanding that he will not be able to attend the NCT concert, ‘NCT NATION: To The World’, on August 26.

Due to the vague statement, many fans were unaware of many of the accident details until Chenle clarified them during a live stream. The NCT member expressed his worry, seemingly revealing that Taeil had once lost consciousness.

Fans have been patiently waiting for any updates on Taeil’s status and finally got them from the artist himself.

On August 25, the artist sent a series of messages on a fan chatting platform, apologizing for being unable to perform at the upcoming NCT Nation concert.

He shared that his surgery went well and that fans shouldn’t worry because his treatment was going great.
