Park Ha Sun | Coup Distribution Park Sun Ha made her acting debut in the TV series Love Needs A Miracle in 2005. Her big break came with her role in MBC’s historical drama Dong Yi, where she played Queen Inhyeon, one of the most known queens in Korean history.
In 2013, she appeared in the drama Two Weeks alongside actor Ryu Soo Young, who she began dating in 2014. The two married in 2017 and had their first child in August of the same year.
After a few years spent out of the spotlight, Park Sun Ha appeared on KakaoTV‘s YouTube channel, where she chatted with Kim Eana about her difficulties as a mother. During the chat, she shared that she discovered the value of working because she had experienced a lull in her career.

What was most shocking was that the lull was caused because she was married. According to Park Ha Sun, directors rejected her for being married, even if they were married themselves.
What upsets me even more is that even if they’re older people with older mindets, they say they only want to work with unmarried actresses when they’re married with children themselves. So I got pushed down the casting list for quite some time.

Luckily, Park Ha Sun, who is only 35 years old, has made a comeback! At the time of the interview, she was starring in Birthcare Center and has since appeared in many more projects, including the film First Child and the MBC drama The Veil.
Her most recent film, Where Would You Like To Go, was released in 2023.
Park Ha Sun’s experience left her with a different outlook on parenthood, stating that if her daughter did not want to get married or have children, she would support it.
