NCT Taeyong’s Unexpected Los Angeles Rideshare Experience Goes Viral

This year’s KCON LA features a star-studded lineup of some of K-Pop’s hottest acts, including ATEEZ, IVE, SHINee‘s Taemin, Stray Kids, ITZY, and (G)I-DLE, to name just a few.

Also in Los Angeles for the annual convention is NCT‘s Taeyong, who is living it up both on-stage and off-stage.

Taeyong stunned with his solo stage, performing his solo debut single “SHALALA,” impressing the crowd with his charisma.

Taeyong also updated fans about his offstage activities after he uploaded a video to his official personal TikTok account.

In the video, Taeyong is riding in the back of a car, presumed by many to be transportation via a rideshare service like Uber, but it wasn’t an average rideshare.

Rideshare drivers are rated after each customer, who are given the option to tip drivers as well, and some go above and beyond to provide a unique or fun experience. From disco lights to providing snacks and drinks, or even custom videos where they present the rules for the ride, you never know what to expect, especially in tourist areas.

For Taeyong’s rideshare experience, the driver had disco lights on in the car and was blasting a song by Too $hort, Lil Jon, and The Eastside Boyz.

Taeyong was a good sport, dancing along as the enthusiastic driver put on a performance from the front seat.

Although he was playing along, he hilariously described the experience as “an overwhelming feeling that cannot be explained in words….”
