A Heartwarming BTS Tribute At Suga’s Solo Concert That ARMYs Might Have Missed

BTS‘s Suga debuted as a soloist with the album D-DAY in April 2023. The release was followed by various promotional content, including a Disney+ documentary, multiple talk show appearances, and eventually, a full-blown solo world tour that wrapped up with three consecutive encore concerts in Seoul from August 4 to August 6. While ARMYs got to experience the grandeur of Suga’s solo artistry during these few months, they also got repeated reassurance from the rapper that all the group members are eagerly waiting for their reunion that is tentatively happening in 2025.

Jin and J-Hope also turned up during the last concert in the audience, while V had joined the rest of the maknae line at one of the previous Seoul shows.

While these surprise appearances sent ARMYs into frenzies, there was a subtle “OT7” moment during day 2 of Suga’s Seoul encore concert that many missed out on.
The shows followed a set format for all the dates, including the particular segment where Suga introduced the members of the band and his dancers to the audience individually. As he called out each artist’s name, they briefly played their instruments or showed off dance moves, wow-ing the audience with their skills.

During the August 5 concert, when Suga called out the name of his guitarist, who goes by the alias of Nois Upgrader, he played a melodious tune to loud cheers from the audience while the BTS member hyped him up. But most people didn’t notice that the tune he was playing was actually the intro of BTS’s latest group song, “Take Two.” The artist then posted the video on his Instagram story, adding that people couldn’t recognize the song since he slowed down the tempo significantly.

Nois Upgrader is credited as one of the composers of the song, and he also participated in recording the guitar parts. But as much as it was a moment of personal accomplishment for the guitarist, it was also a tribute to BTS. He played the tune during some of the old shows as well, and Suga ensured that the audience members didn’t miss out on this moment by pointing it out during the concluding speech at one of his Bangkok concerts.
Bangkok Day 1 Ending Ment
: Bangkok is the best. I remember the first time I came to Bangkok. It was like 9-10 years ago when we came for the first time and at that time we preformed at some mall and did a fan sign. I remember it all. We came to Bangkok and the transit system… pic.twitter.com/7j1oC3eoQV

“Take Two,” a song that BTS gifted to fans on their tenth debut anniversary, despite being on a break from group activities, holds a special place in ARMYs’ hearts. While Suga has always been very vocal about BTS’s reunion, having his crew members honor the group during his solo tour feels like an extra warm gesture.
