Scandalous Allegations Emerge After Star Athlete Sues Her Now-Husband’s Former Wife

Former national team swimmer Jeong Da Rae‘s conflict with her husband’s ex-wife, is making headlines.

On August 16, it was reported that the former athlete sued her husband’s former wife for defamation.

The swimmer married her husband (Mr. Lee) last September. Soon after the wedding, Jeong Da Rae’s husband’s ex-wife reportedly claimed on her social media accounts that her former husband had not paid child support.

News reports state that the ex-wife then used the swimmer’s picture on a picket and spread alleged false accusations in the comments section of Jeong Da Rae’s social media posts. Jeong Da Rae has since deleted her social media accounts.

According to Mr. Lee, when his business faced hardship, his creditors placed a lien on his property. To protect his wife from the lein, he and his then-wife chose to divorce, but he later learned that his newly divorced wife had cheated on him with a YouTuber and had physically assaulted him.

In September 2017, a lien was placed on my property after my business faced hardship. To protect “A” (former wife), we divorced. We ended up staying divorced due to “A” cheating on me and assaulting me. “A” cheated on me with a YouTuber who has 260K followers. I received treatment at the emergency room after “A” assaulted me with a beer bottle.

Mr. Lee then alleged that after changing the titles to his property and accounts under his previous wife’s name in lieu of the lien, when he asked for them back, his former wife declined.

After faking our divorce, I changed the titles to all of my accounts and property under my ex-wife’s name. When I asked for them back, she refused and claimed I owed her money for child support.

Child support was settled in court in 2017 when we faked our divorce. We lived together until 2021 but separated in November 2021. We need a new trial to settle the child support and are currently proceeding in court to settle this, but until then, I do not have any legal obligations.

Mr. Lee then claimed that “A” harrassed Jeong Da Rae for a year and deliberately defamed her in order to not return Mr. Lee’s assets.

Meanwhile, Jeong Da Rae is a Korean swimming icon. The swimmer became a national hero after winning a gold medal in the 200m during the 2010 Asian Games. Jeong Da Rae retired from swimming in 2015 and has since transitioned as a TV personality.
