Every ARMY has a BTS bias. Or two. Or seven. (Usually seven.) Even BTS’s own family members choose favorites!
J-Hope‘s older sister Jung Jiwoo (born Jung Dawon) is a star in her own right. She has over 6 million followers on Instagram (@mejiwoo103) and is the founder of MEJIWOO, a successful clothing brand.
Jung Jiwoo was also one of the first BTS family members to be mentioned on camera. On a radio show, J-Hope was asked which member he would introduce his sister to.

Without any hesitation, he said Jungkook, but Jimin playfully put a stop to that by reminding J-Hope that Jungkook was underaged. Jung Jiwoo, born in 1990, is seven years older than the Golden Maknae.

When asked if he likes J-Hope’s sister, Jungkook.exe stopped working. At the time, he hadn’t perfected his funny “I know her face, but I don’t know her name” method of dodging dating questions.

Jungkook did, however, confirm that she is beautiful after Suga jokingly said she looks like J-Hope with long hair.

At the time, Jungkook was Jung Jiwoo’s bias, but like many ARMYs she was swayed by another member’s charms. In another interview, J-Hope said his sister liked Jungkook initially. “Initially?” Jungkook cut in.

“I was talking to her on the phone recently,” J-Hope went on. “and she said she liked Jimin a lot.” Jungkook and Jimin went from friends to rivals in an instant!

Jimin confessed his love while Jungkook expressed his betrayal. “Noona, do you have to be like this?” he joked. “I’m disappointed. I am not going to meet you next time.”

Unfortunately for both suitors, Jung Jiwoo is soon to be married. In September 2020 she revealed that her wedding is planned for Fall 2021!
