BLACKPINK‘s Rosé recently had a candid moment on her Instagram Live, reminiscing about a heartfelt proposal she witnessed during one of BLACKPINK’s concerts. What made the chat even more entertaining was her reaction to a revelation from the fan involved.

While connecting with fans, Rosé stumbled upon a fan who had once stood out in one of their concerts in Manila, Philippines.

I noticed you for your proposal… OH! Was that you? I think it was in… somewhere in South East Asia? Where was it…? Indonesia? I don’t remember [the place] but I do remember [the proposal], I do.

Her excitement at recalling the moment was evident, showing how much these unique experiences mean to the stars too.

The banner read, “I just want to ask Ricci Rivero, will you go to prom with Andrea?” As a sweet surprise to everyone present, Rosé took it upon herself to read out the message, urging Rivero to say yes.

The whole arena witnessed an adorable moment when Rivero nodded in acceptance and hugged his girlfriend. Lisa, another BLACKPINK member, added to the joy by saying, “So cute! Congratulations.”

The proposal was for the upcoming ABS-CBN’s Star Magical Prom, a significant event slated for March 30. Singer Darren Espanto, a friend of Brillantes, praised the unique proposal on his Instagram, stating, “Hard to beat this promposal.”

Interestingly, this proposal echoed another romantic gesture from the past. Rivero had, in a similar public declaration, asked Brillantes to be his girlfriend in April 2022, post his basketball game in the Mall of Asia Arena. The actress had then accepted his proposal in style, holding up a T-shirt emblazoned with a “YES.”
