BTS‘s Jungkook has gained attention for his iconically “savage” response to an ARMYs comment about their “painful” experience watching his live broadcast.

Over the past few months, Jungkook has been treating ARMYs to various live broadcasts, whether he’s just chatting in bed, working out, or even with his bestie SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu.

Whenever Jungkook goes live, while he normally speaks in Korean, the idol always makes an effort to speak in English a few times to allow international fans to understand him, especially when there aren’t live subtitles.

On August 3, Jungkook once again went live and treated fans to some memorable moments.

During the live broadcast, ARMYs couldn’t contain their anger when Jungkook read a comment from a viewer who didn’t speak Korean and described watching the live as “painful” because they couldn’t understand.

Rather than ignore it, netizens couldn’t hide their pride at Jungkook’s savage response.

Jungkook started by explaining that he also struggles with languages and suggested that the fan starts to learn Korean as they both focus on learning rather than leaving those kinds of comments.

It’s the same here for me. Let’s both start learning. Now, study some Korean. Let’s work hard on studying Korean.

Rather than apologizing, the idol also emphasized that he struggles with language, adding that netizens should realize how frustrating it is for him as well. He then emphasized that the ARMY should start learning Korean and left with “fighting.”

When the translations were tweeted during the live broadcast, netizens couldn’t get enough of Jungkook’s response.

In the past, ARMYs have been urging viewers of Weverse broadcasts to not mention language barriers and how they can’t understand the idols. After seeing Jungkook’s response, fans praised the idol for his response, explaining that ARMYs should meet Jungkook halfway by learning some Korean.

While many idols are learning English and want to communicate with fans from across the world, ARMYs were angry that someone left such a rude comment. Jungkook always tries to communicate with everyone, and ARMYs loved that the idol responded in the way he did to get rid of any entitlement that the fan might have.
