On a recent episode of SBS‘s My Little Old Boy, Rain thanked Park Jin Young for being the only one to help him out when his mother was on her deathbed.
Rain thought back to the days when his mother was sick but he had no money for her hospital fees because he was still in high school.
You probably already know about my past. There was a time when I struggled because I couldn’t afford my mother’s hospital fees.

Rain shared that no one around him would help him out except for Park Jin Young.
We could prolong her life just by going to the hospital. I begged Jin Young Hyung, ‘Please help me. I don’t have money for my mother’s hospital fees. I didn’t even qualify for a joint guarantee because I was still in high school.

But as soon as Park Jin Young received the request, he canceled all of his schedules and carried Rain’s mother to the hospital, and hospitalized her himself.
According to Rain, his mother lived for an extra 2 to 3 weeks all because of Park Jin Young.
It’s been revealed that Rain spent a difficult childhood due to his mother’s illness and his father’s business going under.
When he was a trainee, he wore one outfit for 6 to 7 months of practicing, which caused him to suffer a skin disease.
Luckily, he succeeded and is now successful with a beautiful family.
