K-Pop idol group ZEROBASEONE’s Matthew and Taerae have tested positive for COVID-19. Below is the official statement released by the agency.
Hello, this is WAKEONE. We would like to inform you of the future schedules for ZEROBASEONE’s Matthew and Taerae, who have tested positive for COVID-19. On August 2, both members had mild body aches and took a rapid antigen test that confirmed COVID-19.
Both members have no other symptoms other than a slight sore throat. They will be moved to a separate facility and quarantined for five days to prevent the spread of infection. The other members currently do not have any abnormal symptoms and have tested negative after conducting a rapid antigen test.
Due to the confirmation of COVID-19, we inform you that the Mnet ‘M Countdown’ pre-recording has been canceled, but the special MCs will proceed as scheduled. As for the ‘2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree K-POP SUPER LIVE’, seven members will attend, excluding Matthew and Taerae. In addition, the fan sign and video call event will be postponed to a later date. We will do our best to support Matthew and Taerae so that they can recover quickly. Thank you.
