2PM‘s Lee Junho recently interviewed with Forbes magazine and opened up about his roles in the popular Korean dramas King The Land and The Red Sleeve.

Lee Junho appeared alongside co-star Lee Se Young in the historical K-Drama The Red Sleeve. In the show, which was adapted from a novel of the same name, Lee Junho plays a cold and arrogant prince, Yi San. His portrayal of the crowned prince earned him the “Best Actor” award at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards, making him the first idol actor to accomplish the impressive feat.

To physically transform for the role, Lee Junho lost 35 lbs. for his character “to look more sensitive.”

In King The Land, he plays Gu Won, a chaebol heir who charmed viewers with the evolution of his personality throughout the series.

Gu Won is a figure who despises smiles due to his wounds in the past and he has a cynical attitude. I wanted to express Gu Won’s cynical side or overwhelming impression even when he says nothing.
