Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Donatello Is A Confirmed K-Pop Stan

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles‘ (also abbreviated as TMNT) Donatello (also known as Donnie) has been confirmed to be a K-Pop stan!

The new animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will be released on August 2, 2023. So, promotions for it are well underway. Some toys are even available.

So, on the back of the toy boxes, it included a brief character description for the turtles. In Donatello’s case, it read that his dream is to be a “GAME DEVELOPER BY DAY, K-POP STAR BY NIGHT.”

While it was difficult to read, it still went viral on social media. Fans thought it was cute that Donatello was now canonically a K-Pop stan.

Nickelodeon also released profiles for each turtle to get to know them better. Donnie loves video games, anime, and K-Pop. He was voted “Most likely to have a favorite K-Pop star.”

In the recently released trailer, Donatello responded, “We wouldn’t have K-Pop without humans,” when his brothers discussed whether humans are evil. Their father had taught them to avoid humans.

Now, an interview clip with Donatello’s voice actor Micah Abbey has circulated social media and gone viral on TikTok with 344.6K views at the time of writing.

K-Pop fans were excited to find out Donnie was one of them. So, they guessed who his biases might be. Since he wears purple, we definitely think he has to be ARMY!
