(G)I-DLE’s Minnie Spills On The Thai K-Pop Idol Group Chat

(G)I-DLE‘s Minnie and Yuqi were recently guests on Eric Nam‘s Daebak Show, where they opened up about moving to Korea, adjusting to culture shock, and connecting with fellow idols.

While Minnie discussed her family and friends, the trio began talking about the many talented Thai K-Pop idols and how close they really are.

Eric asked Minnie if she was close with fellow Thai K-Pop idols, and if they keep in touch via a group chat.

Minnie named a few talented Thai K-Pop idols, including BLACKPINK‘s Lisa, GOT7‘s BamBam, former CLC‘s Sorn, NCT‘s Ten, and 2PM‘s Nichkhun, and revealed they had a group chat between idols from Thailand who were closer in age.

We’re pretty close… BamBam, Lisa, Ten, and Sorn- We’re kind of the same age. But Nichkhun oppa is kind of a sunbae, so it’s a little bit far [in age]. But, I’ve met him sometimes.

She shared that when the talented and busy idols do get together, they spend time eating Thai food and catching up with one another.

When asked if she had a favorite Thai restaurant in Seoul, Minnie hilariously revealed she had recommended one so often that it backfired.

She hasn’t been able to visit the restaurant in a while because there is usually a line “so long” that she often has to wait two hours to eat.
