10 Female Idols Who Crush On Foreign Men

Some K-Pop idols have taken their interests outside Korea and revealed foreign stars as their ideal types. Check out who’s into which international hottie!

During her live broadcast Candy Night, TWICE‘s Jihyo talked about the movie “Black Panther” and mentioned she is most into Captain America, played by American actor Chris Evans, out of all the Avengers.

I think Captain America is more attractive than Iron Man. I also like the Hulk.

2. Nayeon (TWICE)

In the same live broadcast with Jihyo, TWICE‘s Nayeon mentioned Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., being her ideal type.

To be exact, she wanted to become Iron Man’s girlfriend. Nayeon found Tony Stark’s personality attractive. Plus, she has always been into “guys who are tech-savvy and good with devices,” so it only makes sense she fell in love with Tony Stark.

3. Seolhyun (AOA)

On an episode of Running Man, AOA‘s Seolhyun explained that since her original crush, actor Song Joong Ki, got married, she has been obsessing over Thor, played by the Australian actor Chris Hemsworth. Seolhyun has always mentioned she likes “guys who are nice and laugh a lot.” It seems Seolhyun’s ideal type hasn’t changed much because Chris Hemsworth is well-known and absolutely beloved in Korea for being an affectionate father to his children.

Suzy talked about her ideal type when she was on her very own reality show, Off the Record, Suzy. She mentioned being attracted when “a guy has a double eyelid on only one of his eyes.” She also likes guys who are sexy. While all this sounds very specific, she picked out the American actor Ian Somerhalder as being very close to her ideal type.

Before, I was really into guys who are sexy, like Ian Somerhalder. These days, I’m also into guys who seem reliable, kind of like Choo Sung Hoon.

When f(x)‘s Krystal went on a radio show, Kangin asked about her ideal type. Krystal answered she likes the American actor Johnny Depp.

I like his masculinity. He’s very edgy. I also like all the roles he plays in his movies. The vibe that he gives off is something different.

Krystal talked about Johnny Depp again while on her reality show with her sister, Jessica. When Krystal mentioned she has a crush and Johnny Depp and that she“always wanted to be a couple like Johnny Depp and Kate Moss,” Jessica strongly disagreed.

I don’t think someone like Johnny Depp would be good for you… There are some guys who aren’t the greatest, and everyone can tell. You always go for those kinds of guys.

On the other hand, Jessica chose the American actor Josh Hartnett as her ideal type. She got to see him in person when he was at the Busan International Film Festival.

I was at the Busan International Film Festival to sing on stage and saw him in the audience. I sang the soundtrack from the movie “Pearl Harbor” in which he starred. He really liked it.

When Girls’ Generation, as a group, appeared on the TV program Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate, each member got to talk about her ideal type.  YoonA explained that she is a massive Japanese actor, Takuya Kimura fan. Fellow member Sooyoung had to translate for YoonA while the two were in Japan and watched his TV program appearance.

I watch all his shows. When I was staying in Japan, he came on a show. I asked Sooyoung to translate for me because she speaks Japanese well. I really would love to meet him. While I was touring around Japan, I took pictures of his advertisements.

The other Girls’ Generation members made fun of me and said I was just like one of the Japanese ladies who visited Korea for Bae Yong Joon. I just love him so much.

On the same show, Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate, Tiffany also talked about her crush on a foreign celebrity. She chose the American actor Chace Crawford, who played Nate Archibald on the internationally popular TV drama series Gossip Girl, and explained she chose him for a particular reason.

I feel like I could have a chance with Chace Crawford because we’re around the same age. He’s like one of those guys who are every girl’s dream boyfriend material at school. He’s handsome, athletic, and gorgeous when he smiles but he has that bad boy vibe.

This wasn’t Tiffany’s first mention of being into “bad boys.” Earlier in her career, when she was on a different TV program, Come to Play, Tiffany said, “It might be because I’m still young, but I’m into bad guys like Goo Joon Pyo from Boys Over Flowers. He’s generally cold-hearted and mean but completely affectionate to his girlfriend.”

When her turn came, Taeyeon chose the Australian actor Hugh Jackman as her ideal type and pointed out she is into “guys who are like teddy bears.” While Hugh Jackman is closer to a wolf than a bear, Taeyeon explained that she has been a fan for a long time.
