BTS Members’ Answers To How They Would Turn Down A Girl Resurface, And Fans Can’t Contain Their Amusement

Recently, a funny blurb taken from an old magazine that BTS featured in has resurfaced online, thanks to the amusing responses that the members gave at the time.

It’s unclear when exactly the magazine was published or even which magazine it is, but it’s back when RM was still going by the stage name Rap Monster, so it’s definitely been a while!

In this magazine, the members were asked “How to turn down a girl who likes you without hurting them?”, and these are each of their responses.

J-Hope started off the list with something that would probably be the least likely to hurt someone’s feelings.

His response: “Sorry, I don’t deserve someone like you.”

RM, on the other hand, had a bit more creative but burn-worthy reaction!

His response: “Ha (deep sigh)… Should I apply some medicine? Cuz you’re about to get hurt soon…”

V went for a classic moving away excuse, though it would be hard to pull off if he ended up seeing them again…

His response: “I’m moving very far away, and I’ll be there for a long time… Will you wait for me?”

Jin’s answer was a fairly straightforward and simple one, without any embellishment or fluff.

His response: “I feel so sorry that I can’t go out with you.”

Suga, similar to J-Hope, went for a response that would hopefully make the person they’re turning down feel good despite being rejected.

His response: “You’ll be able to find someone better than me!”

Jimin took the approach of claiming there was already someone in the picture!

His response: “There’s someone I like, but if she wasn’t there, we could’ve had a good relationship.”

Finally, Jungkook, like RM, had a pretty savage answer, one that a lot of fans commented on in the forum post with amusement.

His response: “Can I say something honestly? Honestly, I don’t see you as a woman.”
