On December 30 KST, YG Entertainment broke the news that BLACKPINK members Lisa and Rosé would finally be making their much-anticipated debuts as solo artists.
BLACKPINK debuted in August of 2016, and since then, only Jennie has had a solo career so far with her song “Solo”, which was released in 2018.
Since then, BLINKs have long been asking for the other members of the group to come out with solo songs, and now it seems like their dreams will finally come true!
While there is no date for the songs to be dropped yet, YG Entertainment did say that there will be music videos filmed for the solo debuts.
Jisoo is also said to have a solo debut in the future, though it won’t be until after she finishes her filming for the drama Snowdrop.
This is incredibly exciting news for BLINKs! Everyone will be eagerly anticipating to see what kind of concepts these talented idols come out with. Keep an eye out for more information as it is released.
