The fandom was quick to gush over the duality in his arms, with one fan passionately proclaiming, “One is to hold others and one is to get held. Comments didn’t just stick to praising his muscular arm but expanded into acknowledging the physical demands of playing the violin. Fans expressed their amazement at how playing the violin could be such a workout, with one even claiming to sweat more while playing than during actual exercise. Amidst all the buzz, a number of fans couldn’t help but swoon over the beauty of his hands, adding another dimension to the fascination.

But why this stark difference between his arms? Fans have theorized that his veiny arm is the one that works the strings on the violin. The left hand, responsible for changing pitches by pressing the strings, requires intense dexterity and is indeed a significant workout. The swift, precise movements, coupled with a firm grip and finger independence, lead to muscular development, likely accounting for Zhanghao’s defined “violin arm.”
| @0725surf/TwitterThe debate didn’t end there. The conundrum of Zhanghao’s hand preference arose, with fans debating whether he’s left-handed or if the photo in the viral tweet was mirrored. No concrete answer has been reached, but this puzzle only adds to the allure surrounding Zhanghao’s “violin arm.”
I don't play the violin but I play other string instruments. I guess the photo is mirrored. Pressing down strings with your fingers split like a banana and constantly changing chords on the fingerboard seems more of an exercise than strumming/using a bow which requires u 2 relax.
