The biggest moment of the show is no doubt when TWICE were declared the first girl group to have a sold-out show at MetLife Stadium!

As fans celebrated this massive achievement and testament to their talents, some couldn’t help but notice that the official Twitter account for MetLife Stadium liked a tweet talking about the group.
The tweet unnecessarily compared TWICE to another group and was made by a fan account months before the concert.
| TwitterHours later, MetLife Stadium tweeted an apology, stating that the like was unintentional and that they are proud of TWICE for the achievement.
ONCE, we hear you! Apologies for inadvertently liking that comment. It wasn't intentional and we removed the like.
We all our acts & are so proud of TWICE being the first female K-Pop group to headline MetLife Stadium Last night's show was one for the record books

Fans still felt that TWICE were directly owed an apology, and were not impressed with the tweet.
Why are you apologising to fans ? wdgaf you should be apologising to @JYPETWICE because ultimately they are facing the disrespect that’s occurred……? in fact why do we even have to explain this … ????
what the fuck LOL https://t.co/CPGv33eB0i— (@jeonghyonation) July 8, 2023
TWICE made history on being the first kpop girl group to sell out a concert in metlife and this is what you repay them? What a shame!

Y’all need to be apologizing to the artist as well since at the end of the day, that tweet that was “inadvertently” liked was very disrespectful to them. This whole thing could’ve been avoided if y’all SM admin had an ounce of professionalism instead of being petty/bitter https://t.co/tNq50Xhb8t
