BTS‘s Suga recently landed the cover of VOGUE Japan as the first solo male to be on the magazine’s cover in its 24-year history.

BTS Suga’s “VOGUE Japan” magazine cover | @voguejp/TwitterSuga shared that over the past ten years, he’s felt that he’s accomplished all of his goals, and his only dream moving forward is continuing to be with BTS.
He reflected on just how far he’s come in his career, remembering when he was a “nameless artist” making music while expressing his gratitude for becoming the globally recognized artist he is today.
| @agustd/InstagramI have been working as an artist and making music since before my debut, but back then I was one of those nameless artists who made music that no one would listen to. Now, I’ve been able to meet my fans and see many people that listen to my music. I am always grateful for that.

Suga has come a long way in many regards, and he shared how his relationship with music has changed, how he handles fame, and how he deals with regret and anxiety.
While thinking about his growth, he offered advice to industry juniors and those who look up to him.
| @agustd/InstagramEverything will be fine. There will be times when you feel at your worst. I’ve had that kind of time too. But when you look back at it, it becomes a memory, and you can learn from it. It’ll be okay in the end.

This isn’t the first time Suga has offered wise words of advice to junior artists. On his D-DAY album, he wrote “Snooze” specifically for younger idols, as an encouragement for them and a way to give them strength through the lyrics.
He performed the song at his recent concert in Seoul, which was especially meaningful because of two fellow idol groups who were present in the audience.
