SHINee’s Onew Responds To His Nomination For TC Candler’s “The 100 Most Handsome Faces Of 2023” List

Each year, TC Candler posts The Annual Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Handsome Faces, which selects only 100 out of around 160,000 celebrities that represent “the modern ideal of worldwide beauty.” TC Candler looks for celebrities who embody attributes such as “grace, elegance, originality, and joy” and rely on public nominations to help build their list.

Each year since 1990, The Annual Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces, strives to present an inclusive list that features celebrities from over 50 countries, and the 100 Most Handsome Faces list was created in 2013 and has featured numerous K-Pop idols over the last decade.

This year, nominations for 2023’s list are underway, and so far, K-Pop idols such as SHINee‘s Taemin, ATEEZ‘s Hongjoong and Yeosang, Stray Kids‘ I.N, BTS‘s Jungkook, and many more.

Each week, new nominees are unveiled, and recently one K-Pop idol received their first nomination, SHINee’s leader Onew.

This week’s nomination results were posted just hours ago and have already made their way to the SHINee member, who hilariously responded to the nomination on Instagram.

Onew reposted the nomination announcement on his Instagram story and responded, “What…? What’s going on?”

While Onew might be hilariously confused, Shawols know exactly why he was nominated and are excited to see the group’s beloved leader up for 2023’s 100 Most Handsome Faces list.

Fans rushed to share their love for the idol and couldn’t help reacting to his funny response.
