Seoul Landmarks Light Up In Purple For BTS’s 10th Anniversary

BTS is officially celebrating their 10th anniversary, an incredible feat for the group that debuted from a small company and reached unprecedented global heights through a decade of consistent hard work and dedication.

Advertisements and banners were also hung along the streets and in Seoul’s subway station, proving how incredible BTS’s impact is.
An 11-hour livestream video from SBS News showed five landmarks honoring BTS while playing news clips of the group’s many accomplishments.

1. Sevit Island
Sevit Island is a cultural complex on a manmade island in the Han River. The complex shined purple lights out of its many windows, showing love for BTS’s 10th anniversary.
This isn’t the first time the cultural complex shined purple for BTS. In 2021, Jimin snapped a photo in front of the manmade island to share with fans the special moment the complex glowed purple for the group’s 8th anniversary.

2. N Seoul Tower
Standing at around 776.57 ft tall, N Seoul Tower soars high above Seoul and is covered in bright purple light as a citywide reminder of BTS’s 10th anniversary.

Seoul City Hall also lit up in purple for the 2023 FESTA celebrations.
