BTOB performed a jazzy number reminiscent of the iconic movie La La Land for Episode 9 of Mnet‘s Kingdom, and one particular moment had all the groups gasping in surprise.

(G)I-DLE‘s Miyeon starred in BTOB’s beautiful performance of “Blue Moon,” acting as the role of a girlfriend to Changsub, and then Minhyuk. The performance was intimate, detailing the strained love between Minhyuk and Miyeon as Miyeon acted as Changsub’s girlfriend in the movie they were filming. The other groups watching were on the edge of their seats as the tension mounted to a scene of Minhyuk and Miyeon staring into each other’s eyes.

The other contestants panicked and gasped as they all thought the two were about to kiss.
