Titled “The Female Idols That Guys Like Nowadays Are Just Karina and Winter, For Real”, the author wrote about how the two aespa members, compared to other female idols popular among female Korean communities, are dominating the male K-Pop fandom.
They wrote, “They are IU-level. The idols that get the goddess treatment on female community sites like Jang Wonyoung or Sullyoon are weirdly not popular. And if they must find someone to stan in their group, it would be either Ahn Yujin or Kazuha, these two are unexpectedly popular.”

- “Winter has a freaking lot of male fans”
- “In all-boys high schools… Karina and Winter… are gods…”
- “Karina and Winter have a lot of male fans and Fromis9’s Baek Jiheon is also super popular.. For real, you can see right away the difference between male and female community sites”
- “Karina, Winter, Baek Jiheon, Lee Saerom, Jo Yuri, Kazuha and Kim Chaewon are super popular in male community sites, believe it or not… she’s not a female idol but BIBI sometimes gets mentioned too”
