Fans Discover Where ATEEZ’s Mingi May Have Gotten Inspiration For His Viral Fiery Hair Color

ATINY have been enjoying the new hair colors and styles that ATEEZ have been rocking as of late. While Yunho may have found inspiration for his new black and white hair color from the members of the “Oreo Line”, fans have discovered that Mingi‘s new hair color may have been inspired by one of them!
ATEEZ performed at the 2022 K-POP MASTERZ EP. 2 IN MANILA where Mingi debuted his new hair color, a vibrant yellow, orange, and red ombre that resembles real flames!
It’s easy to guess that ATINY absolutely loved it! Many fans said that the hairstyle reminds them of an anime character and thought that he may have gotten the inspiration from one or even from a version of the group’s latest album.

However, fans quickly discovered that the “real” story of where he might have gotten inspiration from is even cuter!
In August during ATEEZ’s “Guerrilla” promotions, the group did video fan sign calls and were able to chat with fans around the world. Video calls have always been a great way for K-Pop groups to connect with their fans in a different way and during one such call, Mingi couldn’t help but compliment a fan about their hair. He expressed that he found it absolutely beautiful!

The fan’s hair is colored in a way identical to how Mingi’s hair looks now, leading fans to think that he “stole” the idea from this fan to try it out for himself!
