As a preview, SM Entertainment released a video of the Red Velvet members driving to the island with Irene at the wheel.

It didn’t take long for the girls to run into their first challenge, paying the parking lot fee!

Luckily, even though it’s not popular to carry around physical money anymore, Wendy had a spare ₩1,000 KRW bill, saving the group!

Yeri wondered what they would have done if she didn’t have cash. Seulgi joked that the members might have had to drive back to Seoul and cancel the series.

Even though it was only ₩1,000 KRW (about $0.72 USD), the members showered Wendy with compliments for saving their trip. Joy and Seulgi called her “Young and rich” and a “Woman with cash.”

Wendy took it as an opportunity to give ReVeluvs a life lesson, “Everyone! Study hard while you can still study. You should earn diligently while you can still earn!”
