Some song titles are straightforward, and some… not so much.
So, ARMYs are debating the correct pronunciation for BTS songs and albums.

It appeared to have started with ARMYs first debating on the pronunciation of HYYH, which is actually not a song.

HYYH is actually an era. The BTS Universe (BU) began as a series of music videos and fan theories in 2015 that expanded over time. While it is ongoing, it originated with The Most Beautiful Moment in Life era, or “Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa” (HYYH). The official name “The BTS Universe” wasn’t given until 2017.
From left: BTS’s V, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jin, and Jungkook in the “HYYH” era.
Some might pronounce HYYH as “H Y Y H.” But considering it’s short for “Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa,” that is the correct pronunciation.
no cuz i don't even pronounce hyyh, i just read it in my mind like huh yaw era

Likewise, ARMY brought up “DNA,” which should be a no-brainer, but…
How do y’all pronounce DNA?
— Rad⁷ (@KingstanBangtan) September 19, 2022
someone started another debate about how you pronounce DNA, like D-N-A or Deoxyriboneucleic Acid heELPSHSHSHSH

The most divisive song is “134340.” ARMYs just can’t seem to agree…
the only way y’all should pronouncing 134340 is 13 43 40 or pluto there’s no way y’all saying the numbers individually
— bts (@attackonhobi) September 19, 2022
it’s definitely 13 43 40 btw

Yet, one of its songwriters, RM, already pronounced it before in a live broadcast. So, what is there left to debate?

Some foreign language titles like “Jamais vu” seem like a valid conversation, but even it has been low-key jokey.
intentionally wrong bc i dont want the french to win https://t.co/YAC1eO3d5R

ARMYs are even coming for BTS’s first EP and its intro: O!RUL8,2?. There should only be one way to read this, but apparently, that’s not true.
ORUL82! is pronounced “oh are u late too” if u say it any other way u just wanna start problems
— mani⁷ (@strwbrryoongii) September 19, 2022
there’s no way more than 2 of y’all r agreeing with O!RUL8,2? being pronounced “o rule eight two”…. there’s no way y’all have been living like this…

What’s a BTS song you’re unsure of pronouncing?
