BTS will be holding a concert in Busan on October 15 to support the city’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo. Though the show is free, the tickets were allocated through a lottery system in two rounds of giveaways.
The first round was for designated seating, only among the official ARMY membership holders. On September 19, KST, the second round of giveaways took place, and the tickets were gone within 15 minutes!

According to many fans who were in the queue for the raffle, there were 450,000 people in the waiting room initially. Then the server crashed due to such heavy traffic, decreasing the waiting line down to 156,000 people.
Nah actually I was on the server 2 hours before and couldn’t even LOG IN! Bc too high demand.

Though it took around 15 minutes for the website to process the data and show that all the tickets were sold out, apparently, the raffle was over within a few seconds. In less than a minute, people were not able to make a booking anymore.
With both rounds of giveaways now over, BTS will be performing in front of an audience of 100,000 attendees. The concert will be held at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium for a duration of 90 minutes. According to reports, Lotte World has announced “The City” project, which will organize multiple events in Busan celebrating the boy group’s arrival. This includes BTS-centric souvenirs and facilities by luxury hotels, packages, and city-wide decor.

BTS might be on a break to focus on solo projects for now, but this Busan concert is proof enough that there is no touching the biggest boyband in the world when it comes to popularity.
