Hear ye’, hear ye’! Girl group BLACKPINK will soon be making a comeback with the launch of their new album, BORN PINK. The album drops on September 16, 2022, and everyone is super excited!
The album marks their long-awaited new music drop as a group since “Lovesick Girls”. Since then, the girls have been working on individual projects. Jennie, Lisa and Rosé all dropped solo songs, while Jisoo starred in acclaimed drama, Snowdrop. Fans have thoroughly missed the girls as a foursome and are looking forward to BORN PINK with excitement.
Fans were a little bit startled when the D-DAY teaser poster dropped on the midnight of September 16, 2022. While they had been looking forward to the drop, the unique and unexpected graphics of the poster left them on the fence about the design.

The design is abstract, with the four girls on a white background. If you look carefully, you will see how Jennie’s hair is frosty white, and it connects to what seems to be Lisa’s furry jacket sleeve. The overall shape resembles a fox’s tail. Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo have their hands in the shot, with their long nails on full view. Rosé is the only one without her nails showing. The concept reminded fans of a Gumiho, the legendary fox that seduces humans. While clearly, everyone is looking forward to BLACKPINK, the graphics left a little more to desire.
