BLACKPINK’s Jennie And NewJeans’ Hyein Wore The Same Top But Served Totally Different Vibes

NewJeans instantly earned attention for their talent, visuals, and style when they debuted.

They became rookies to watch when they released their debut EP earlier this summer and were quickly loved by fans and fellow K-Pop idols alike.

Their retro-chic and unique fashion style also caught attention. NewJeans’ first official schedule was impressively an appearance at the N°1 DE CHANEL GARDEN pop-up store event for the designer brand, where each member looked effortlessly sleek in their luxury fashion looks.

Recently, the group had their first photo shoot with ELLE Korea, where they promoted Chanel‘s new lipstick. The members rocked Chanel’s looks styled in their signature Y2K fashion for the photo shoot.

Maknae Hyein‘s past as a child model lent to her skilled, charismatic poses, perfectly embodying the elegant feel of the fashion brand.

For her photos, Hyein wore a collared lime green shirt and Chanel’s Coco Neige hot pink crop top with Blumarine‘s $750 USD flared jeans with gold-tone lamination. For accessories, she carried a Chanel quilted mini-wallet and wore a Chanel necklace and armlet to add a luxurious feel to the eclectic outfit.

Hyein looked incredible in the preppy yet quirky look, bringing the NewJeans vibe to high fashion.

Hyein wasn’t the only idol who wore the trendy pink Chanel crop top; BLACKPINK‘s Jennie was the face of the Chanel Coco Neige collection which featured the top.

Jennie looked effortlessly sporty yet chic for the campaign photos in a matching two-piece Chanel sweatsuit with an oversized silver puffer jacket. With the winterwear, she paired a chunky Chanel body chain and necklace with a net face veil for an upscale twist.

Chanel’s global ambassador perfectly modeled the limited edition collection, and both idols looked amazing in their unique looks.
