BTS Members Picked Their Favorite Songs For A Chuseok-Special Playlist For ARMYs
본문
Recently BTS sent their Chuseok wishes to ARMYs through a video uploaded on the BANGTANTV channel. Chuseok is a mid-Autumn harvest festival celebrated all over South Korea and often carries a sense of nostalgia for many. Since the festival is celebrated with a three-day holiday in the country, many Koreans go back to their hometowns and celebrate the harvest.

While talking about how they celebrated Chuseok during their childhood, the BTS members decided to suggest some songs that fans can listen to on their way in case they are traveling back to their hometowns. Here’s what each member picked:
1. Jin
Jin suggested their 2018 hit “Idol” for a dash of excitement and fun on the road. The traditional instruments and visuals of the song makes it a perfect fit for the occasion as well.
2. Suga
Suga’s pick was “Home” from BTS’s 2019 album Map Of The Soul: Persona. According to him, it matches the theme of going back home accurately.
3. RM
RM had a similar line of thought as Suga and he suggested “Ma City,” the 2015 hip-hop track from The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Part 2.
4. Jimin
Jimin picked the track “Ddaeng” that rapline released in 2018 as a Festa gift for ARMYs. The traditional instrumentation of the song fits the mood of Chuseok perfectly.
5. J-Hope
J-Hope’s choice was Jin’s solo track “Moon” since Chuseok is also known as the “full-moon festival.”
6. Jungkook
Jungkook went with the queen of BTS ballads, “Spring Day.” The song is filled with so much longing, it represents the emotions of going back home very accurately.
7. V
V chose the song “Go Go.” Even though he didn’t explain his reasoning, there are a few guesses that can be made. The song’s theme is loosely connected to the idea of spending money while you are young, and given how BTS talked about the fact that they are at the age of giving gift money on Chuseok instead of receiving, “Go Go” is probably what V sings to himself while filling the envelopes for family members. It’s also a very hype song that can make a road trip all the more fun.
