Red Velvet‘s Joy and NCT‘s Doyoung once again show off their lovable friendship as they prove to be the cutest chaotic duo in Joy’s recent birthday vlog.

Joy celebrates her birthday on September 3, but she filmed her vlog during her trip to Tokyo to perform at SMTOWN LIVE 2022. She showed many sweet and chaotic moments with her members, including the way they congratulated her with loving “birthday smacks.”

She gave fans a look at her skincare routine and discussed the script for her upcoming K-Drama Once Upon A Small Town. And later on, she also took ReVeluvs behind the scenes of Red Velvet’s SMTOWN LIVE 2022 rehearsal. As Joy and the members returned to their dressing room after a tiring rehearsal, they ran into Doyoung. Joy and Irene had been repeatedly greeting the camera in a cute way…

…but, hilariously, as soon as she saw Doyoung, Joy’s tone immediately sharpened as she said, “What are you doing?” Doyoung imitated the way Joy and Irene had been saying “Hi” to the camera and waved. Joy requested that he say “Happy Birthday” to her.

He complied, but he jokingly did it in a half-hearted tone (leaving her unamused). When she pointed out how “insincere” he sounded, Doyoung gave her a loving “birthday smack” of his own.

This is far from the first time the two of them have shown off their chaotic sibling bond. They’ve been known to be good friends ever since their trainee days, and they have since shown plenty of warm support for each other. Fans will always be here for 96-liner bestie moments!
