BLACKPINK has officially arrived at the 2022 MTV VMAs red carpet event. The group is nominated for “Group of the Year,” and has already won the award for “Best Metaverse Performance!” Lisa has also earned a nomination for “Best K-Pop” for her song “LALISA.”
The group was already turning heads on their way to New York for the award show, looking amazing in their trendy airport fashion looks at Incheon Airport.
Once they arrived, they continued to catch the attention of BLINKs (BLACKPINK fans) and locals, turning heads every time they left their hotel.

This evening, they finally hit the red carpet for the 2022 MTV VMAs, and as expected, each member look stunning in their all-black outfits.
Rosé is the model global ambassador in Saint Laurent‘s $4,890 USD “draped dress in shiny jersey.” According to ELLE, Lisa also flexed her status as CELINE‘s global ambassador, wearing the luxury brand’s pants with a cropped black top.
Jisoo is a classic beauty in a timeless floral gown, and Jennie keeps it modern in a cutout halter top with a long, pleated black skirt.
Each member shined with a natural makeup look, and they truly stole the show with fans and the media yelling for their attention. Fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar even named the group the “It Girls” of the night.

Even fellow celebrities were excited to see the group. American actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter named BLACKPINK as the only artist she was excited to see that night, and Brazilian singer, songwriter, and actress Anitta joined the girls for an epic picture together.
