LE SSERAFIM fans now officially have a fandom name!
Their company, Source Music, made the official announcement, along with a heartwarming explanation behind the fandom name.
As many fans know, LE SSERAFIM’s name is an anagram for “I’M FEARLESS,” which they displayed in a motion release teaser unveiling their group name on March 27, 2022.

A month ago, fans asked member Yunjin about the fandom’s name. Fans were hilariously offering suggestions to speed up the process.
One fan asked if the group was discussing possible names in their meetings with the company, and Yunjin hilariously implied that picking a name during the meetings would be a disaster.
Fan: How about choosing a fandom name during a weekly meeting? It doesn’t matter if its kelp or oyster. Choose a fandom name for us.
Yunjin: Lololol are you sure it doesn’t matter? Our weekly meetings are pure chaos. Are you okay with that?
Now, three months after their debut, the wait is over as LE SSERAFIM has officially announced their fandom name, FEARNOT.

Source Music explained the deeper meaning behind the fandom name in an official notice posted to Weverse.

We’re here to reveal the official fandom name “FEARNOT” for LE SSERAFIM and the fans.
“FEARNOT,” which is a homonym of “blooming” in Korean, carries a meaning that LE SSERAFIM marching forward fearlessly and fans who do “not fear” loving and supporting LE SSERAFIM come together to “bloom” every new moment.
We express our sincere gratitude to our “FEARNOT” sending LE SSERAFIM lots of love and we ask for your continued love and support.

FEARNOTs are already showing love for the new name; one lucky fan commented that FEARNOT was a pretty name and LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura replied that she agreed!

One observant fan noticed that leader Chaewon may have hinted at the fandom name in a previous interview, to which Chaewon seemingly confirmed with a simple emoji.
Now that the fandom name has been announced, FEARNOTs can look forward to being officially greeted during LE SSERAFIM’s next schedule.
